Judging from the past, the full details of our financial, business and educational matters during the school year ending June 30, 1890, will not be available for any review of them until many months after the termination of my term of service; and I do not think any review of them important. A few suggestions in apt time seem to me more desirable than any such review, or a complete report 1argely devoid of interest through its tardy appear ance. If there is any value at all, and at any time, in a President's report, it ought to be a reasonably modern document.
