Unfortunately, his death in a motor vehicle accident at the height of his career is highly suspect. His friends believe his death due to both a conspiracy and revenge for the success of the Malta Network, which he established to give Israel an edge on intelligence. The loss of her husband leaves his beloved wifes life shattered, and she is forced to return to South Africa, but in the full belief that her husband had found love and had brought honor to his Jewish heritage.
