Since its height is several hundred feet above Nashville and the counties of the basin, the town has enjoyed the distinction of the cool mountain air along with the fertility of its surrounding valleys. McMinnville, the county seat of Warren County, is presented here by its authors in an assemblage of images commemorating its 200-year history. The images are selected primarily from the authors' archives, augmented by selections from the Tennessee State Library and Archives in Nashville.
