Book excerpt: The staff of the Federal energy Regulatory Commission (FERC or Commission) has perpared an environmental assessment (EA) for the Mainline 133 Loop Expansion Project (Loop Expansion) proposed by Questar Overthrust Pipeline Company (Overthrust) in the above referenced docket. Overthrust requests authorization to add up yo 800,000 dekatherms per day of natural gas capacity from the existing Rock Springs Compressor Station southwest of Rock Springs in Sweetwater County, Wyoming westbound to Overthrust's existing Cabin 31 station in Uinta County, Wyoming. The project would facilitate deliveries to the Kern River Gas Transmission Company pipeline system and eventual deliveries to El Paso Corporation's proposed Ruby Pipeline.
