HR environment is one of the key areas that will face numerous changes as a result of the changing times. Even in the absence of the pandemic, there are a multitude of standards set for the HR environment, since it has a major influence on employee morale and productivity. A professional often expects standards of equality amongst different workers concerning remuneration, opportunities, and career development. The bridge between this expectation and the organizational reality is sure to expand in the aftermath of the pandemic. This paper thus aims to identify the expectations of professionals in various organizations, concerning the HR environment by surveying individuals from various professional organizations to derive inferences as to how much the pandemic has influenced the expectations of a standard HR environment and what organizations plan on doing in order to maintain a reputable standard for their HR environments.
