As a first time author, now retired, he would like to share his many Vietnam construction projects and experiences, along with many personal photographs. He has been married for 40 years, is a proud father of three children and active grandfather to six grandchildren, who he refers to as "The Sunshine Kids." His character and work ethic as a team player he received while serving in the U.S. Navy Seabees was a stepping stone toward all of his life's accomplishments. John is a member of the John J. Morris American Legion Post 62 in Peoria, Arizona and a life-time member of the Navy Seabee Veterans of America, Island X-5 in West Valley, Arizona.
