Why entrepreneurs? In a world of political impasses, massive debt and economic issues, ideological and cultural clashes, terrorism, and any number of other uncertainties and challenges, it's entrepreneurs such as yourself who take responsibility for their own futures and seize opportunities amidst adversity. By empoweringentrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs, and their families, we believe that we are contributing to a better future for others. It's this entrepreneurial spirit that's fundamental to the work of Empowered Wealth.But there's much more to Empowered Wealth and The Empowered Wealth Mindset. We begin with Gratitude. Chapter 9 of The Brower Quadrant "Gratitude Rocks" describes how gratitude has become a major part of Empowered Wealth. Beginning in Gratitude virtually assures a shift in thinking about wealth.What is wealth? Is it just measured in terms of money and financial assets? Or are there assets you value more than money? Chapter 8 of The Brower Quadrant "Creating Clarity" explores what true wealth really means to you individually. TheEmpowered Wealth Clarity Process has been utilized in numerous business, family, and personal situations in many countries over the years. It's a process that we suggest you revisit at least annually to renew your focus on what's essential amongst all of your competing interests. The Next Step will be about focusing on the essential rather than the very important matters inyour life.What is your legacy? Notice that we didn't ask "What will your legacy be?" That's because a powerful element of The Empowered Wealth Mindset is the concept of "Living Legacy"; making the world better today for those who will follow. This is an important element in The Next Step.Leadership is virtually unavoidable for a successful entrepreneur. Much has been and will continue to be written on the topic of Leadership. Our premise with The Next Step is that a deep sense of Gratitude, filtering reality through the lens of "True Wealth" and Living Legacy will inspire Leadership.That in turn will drive congruent Leverage. Why "congruent" leverage and not just leverage? We believe that without gratitude, a strong base of true wealth, and a sense of living legacy, "leverage" becomes not a means for making the world a better place for those who follow but perhaps a destructive mechanism (for example, did the Hitler use leverage? Did Osama bin Laden use leverage?).Family Leadership and Congruent Leverage are vital to The Next Step. They are part of what we call "The Empowered Wealth Mindset".
