Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The final chapter provides a conjectural framework for extending these results to arbitrary modular forms. In this case, the desired anticyclotomic deformation rhof,Λ arises from the Hida family associated to f, i.e., from a piece of a suitable p-adic Hecke algebra. This framework depends crucially on conjectures asserting the non-vanishing of certain cohomology classes arising from the Euler system of Kato.
