The works belong ing to the Military Information Division are not, in general, available for circulation among officers of the Army outside of the city of Washington, as they are constantly required for consultation in answering oflicial questions submitted by the War Department and the Headquarters of the Army. Duplicates of some of the works mentioned in these pages can be obtained from the War Department Library, which also contains much military literature - historical, polemical, etc. - which can be obtained for a limited time by Army offi cers upon their application.
